About The Sage State

Become Who You Already Are

I didn’t arrive at this work through theory alone.
I arrived because my life demanded a deeper way of being.
There was a time when I was productive on the surface, yet deeply disconnected underneath. I worked long hours away from home, lived out of hotel rooms, and watched meaningful moments, family milestones, relationships, life itself happen through a screen. The job paid well, but it cost me presence, fulfillment, and direction.
After a relationship that uprooted my life and left me carrying financial and emotional weight, I began searching for answers. That search led me inward beginning with a simple book placed in my hands at exactly the right moment: The Four Agreements written by Don Miguel Ruiz.
It opened a door.
But I didn’t walk through it right away.
The Moment Responsibility Replaced Excuses

I stayed on the same path longer than I should have numbing myself alongside coworkers who were coping the only way they knew how. Over time, the disconnection caught up with me. Twice.
Two moments where my lack of internal regulation created real-world consequences. Two moments where life could have ended for myself or someone else.
That was the moment clarity arrived.
Not shame. Not blame.
Just truth.
My external reality was reflecting my internal state. And if anything was going to change, it had to begin there.
Walking a Different Path
I chose responsibility over avoidance and awareness over numbing. That decision led me to nursing school, and eventually into psychiatric nursing on an acute crisis stabilization unit.

For five years, I worked closely with people in the most vulnerable moments of their lives. I witnessed the full spectrum of human suffering and also the limits of a system that often treats symptoms without addressing root causes.

Medication and emergency intervention have their place. But what I saw, again and again, was this:

Many crises could have been prevented with earlier guidance, stronger internal regulation, and a deeper understanding of how belief, identity, and emotional state shape behavior.
I didn’t want to help people after collapse.
I wanted to reach them before.
So I left the hospital and committed fully to this work.
The Understanding That Changed Everything
As I immersed myself in philosophy, neuroscience, psychology, and universal law, a pattern became impossible to ignore:
Every legitimate school of wisdom points to the same truth, just in a different language.
All lasting change begins internally.
Identity shapes perception.
Perception shapes emotion.
Emotion shapes behavior.
Behavior shapes reality.
Trying to change life without changing state is exhausting. Willpower fades. Motivation runs out. Results become inconsistent.
When the inner state changes, the external world follows naturally.
What Is The Sage State
The Sage State is a simple, grounded, client-led methodology designed to help you realign at the level where change actually occurs.
Together, we:
-
Identify subconscious belief systems that quietly limit your results
-
Release identities built from fear, conditioning, or survival
-
Define a clear, embodied version of who you are becoming
-
Anchor that identity emotionally, not intellectually
-
Test and strengthen this new state against real-world adversity
There is no mystery here.
There is no dependency.
Everything we use can be found in books and free resources. My role is not to give you answers but to guide you through a clear process that helps you embody what you already know, consistently.
This work is especially powerful for people who:
-
Know what to do but struggle to do it consistently
-
Have tried therapy or personal development with limited success
-
Are ready to lead from embodiment, not force
-
Are willing to answer difficult questions honestly
This work may not be suitable for individuals with unresolved severe trauma or those unwilling to examine themselves deeply.
How I Work With Clients
Safety comes first. Always.
From that foundation, I challenge directly, compassionately, and clearly. I will walk beside you, but you will do the walking. This is not about fixing you. It’s about helping you reclaim internal authority, resilience, and self-trust.
Why This Work Exists
Because power was never meant to live outside of you.
This work allows people to reclaim the internal capacity they’ve always had to respond instead of react, to choose instead of drift, and to live aligned regardless of circumstance.
My goal is simple:
To help you uncover the mental blocks hiding in plain sight and give you the skills to establish and maintain your best self.
If something in you already knows you’re meant for more than what you’re currently experiencing, The Sage State was built for you.
